Cathy Sultan knows the Middle East. An expert on the region’s history and politics, she lived on the front lines in Beirut during the Lebanese civil war. Over the past 20 years, she has led five American delegations to Israel/Palestine and Gaza, and for decades has lectured extensively about the complexities of the region.
