Details

In the summer of 2023, author B.J. Hollars and his nine-year-old daughter, Ellie, set out on a two-thousand-mile adventure to complete the Montana Dinosaur Trail. Along the way, they dug for fossils, learned from world-renowned paleontologists and amateurs alike, and discovered what some of the biggest and most beloved animals ever to walk the earth can teach us about our own uncertain future.

B.J. Hollars is the author of several books, most recently Dinosaur Dreams: A Father and Daughter In Search of America's Prehistoric Past and Wisconsin for Kennedy: The Primary That Launched a President and Changed The Course of History. Hollars is the recipient of the Truman Capote Prize for Literary Nonfiction, the Anne B. and James B. McMillan Prize, the Council of Wisconsin Writers' Blei-Derleth Award, the Society of Midland Authors Award, and both the Midwest Book Awards Gold and Silver medals. He lives and works in Eau Claire.

Books will be available for purchase.
