Part of the Pathways to the Past series. Author Ken Szymanski will draw from his experience interviewing relatives to help participants learn to put their family history down on the page — one character at a time.

Ken Szymanski served as Writer-in-Residence for the city of Eau Claire from 2020 to 2024, and is the author of the books Homefield Advantage and Sit Down and Stay Awhile: My Aunt Lil, a Small-Town Bar, and a Lifetime of Polkas, which was written using interviews with his aunt and others.
