DESCRIPTION:Are you anxious about climate issues? Or maybe you feel hopele
 ss and nothing you do for the environment really matters. Ann Brand, PhD, 
 will lead a mindfulness workshop that will guide participants in effective
  communication on challenging topics such as climate and explore how mindf
 ul practices can support us in working with difficult emotions so we can c
 ontinue to act in line with our intentions and values.Ann Brand, PhD, is a
  certified mindfulness teacher through The Mindfulness Training Institute 
 (MTI) and the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA). Ann m
 entors students one-on-one and teaches mindfulness classes in the Chippewa
  Valley. She also served as the Program Specialist for Mindfulness Trainin
 g for Arts Integration Menomonie (AIM) at University of Wisconsin-Stout as
