Details

Celebrate reading as a family at Read Me a Book Club! Each monthly two-part session will include a read-aloud and hands-on activities. No pre-reading is required. Read Me a Book Club is recommended for kids in grades K-2 with their grown-up.

Schedule

Beep Boop Beep: Robots at the Library (January 23 and 30)

Listen to stories about robots and get to know Dash and Dot, the library’s robots at both meetings.
Week One: Color with a Scribble Bot
Week Two: Design a Bristle Bot

Rainbow, Sunshine, and UNICORNS! (February 20 and 27)

Enjoy some of our favorite unicorn books with a special unicorn visitor.
Week One: Create a Unicorn Mini-Canvas Painting
Week Two: Make Rainbow Unicorn Poo slime (ewww!)

Must Love (Cats and) Dogs (March 20 and 27)

Read about your favorite feline friends and pooches.
Week One: Attempt the “In the Doghouse” STEM design challenge
Week Two: Design a Peek-a-Boo Ears Mini Book

Registration is required, but walk-in registration on the day of the program is welcome. Signing up for one date signs you up for all dates, but you don’t need to attend every meeting.
