Update Your Resume

Looking for a job or career change in 2026? "Update Your Resume" is a brief presentation by Career Navigator Jade Sales explaining the critical advantages of a skills-based resume. Participants will learn to create an online resume that will pass AI-driven screening, increasing the likelihood employers will review their applications. Jade will be on hand to answer questions and schedule one-on-one follow-up meetings. 

Library laptops will be available. Please bring your own thumb drive to save your work or you can purchase a thumb drive from the Customer Service desk on the first floor.

• Template 1 is best for those with less work experience (or gaps in their work history) and highlights education, awards, and accomplishments. 
• Template 2 is best to highlight successful, relevant, work experience.
• Professional Employment template.
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) template on the Internet.

Registration is required. Choose to attend only one session: April 29, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. or April 30, 10 a.m. to noon.

Jade Sales, a Career Navigator out of the Eau Claire Job Center, brings specialized expertise in resume development through 10 years of experience across her background in employment case management, job services, applicant tracking systems, document design, visual and written rhetoric, academic editing, and workforce development.
