Storytime in the Park is about 30 minutes long and geared for two- to six-year-olds and their caregivers, but can be enjoyed by the entire family.

Explore the fundamentals of pro­gram­ming logic, functions, and algorithms with a fun hands-on challenge: writing precise instructions for a “robot” to make a sandwich.

Recommended for youth entering grades K-6.

Artists of all kinds are invited to drop in and explore your creative side this summer. Basic supplies will be available; just bring your imagination! 

It can be hard to put a label on a maker whose areas of interest are related yet diverse. Michael Levenick, our Maker in Residence this spring, combines circuits, code, and curiosity to make gadgets, games, and general greatness.

Local writers of all kinds meet up to hone their craft. Open to the public.

The Sawdust City Writers group, which operates under the umbrella of the Chippewa Valley Writers Guild, meets from 6-7:45 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of the month. We are an encouraging group.
